Activision came out on Steam today without notice three old Call of Duty games, which until now have only been available on the Battle.net platform in the PC market. These are 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, 2020 Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and 2021 Call of Duty: Vanguard.
These three parts are a continuation of last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which was available on Steam on the day of release and marked the beginning of the return of the series to the Valve digital store. You can play all three games mentioned above now buy with 50% discount for 30 euros.
The only entry in the series that remains exclusively available through Battle.net after today is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 since 2018. However, this release does not feature a single-player campaign and has relied solely on multiplayer since its release. Therefore, due to the low number of active players and the lack of single-player content, releasing it on Steam would not make much sense.
