Hit MultiVersus has already lost over 99% of players

The fighting game MultiVersus was one of the most unplayed games upon its release. More than 20 million players reached out to it, and at its strongest moments, more than 153 thousand people played it in an instant. However, modernity does not want this genre too much, as evidenced by the situation around this slowly fading work. According to the VGC server, in the past few days, interest in this work has fallen sharply. More precisely, the game has lost almost 99% of its player base. Only something around 990 plays stably, which is already very weak.

The main reason for the failure of this part may be that it regularly did not receive enough content, which many similar projects struggle with. It cannot be completely ruled out that the game will follow the path of the similarly configured Rumbleverse, whose servers will go down this month. We don’t wish MultiVersus any harm, but if the developers don’t come up with something interesting, maybe in a few months we won’t be playing this free game.
