At the end of January, the Japanese studio Tango Gameworks released their new game, which went in a completely different direction than all previous titles. Nevertheless, the fun rhythm action hi-fi RUSH really did the job and got a 9 out of 10 from our review. But the players still hope that the developers will return to their survival horror series The Evil Within. And the latest discovery, published by GamesRadar magazine, may point to that.
In one of the cut-scenes in Hi-Fi RUSH, a message appears in the elevator saying that “the continuation of the popular survival horror series has been announced.” Sure, it might not mean anything at all, but it could also be a wink to fans that Part 3 is actually happening. After all, there are many more easter eggs on The Evil Within in Hi-Fi RUSH. You will find there, for example, the iconic mirror and music from the save room, as well as Sebastian Castellanos himself and his colleague Joseph Oda, although they are called slightly differently in the game.
How about you, would you like a new part of The Evil Within?
The Evil Within 3 may have been teased in a post found on Hi-Fi Rush.
