We’ll have to wait for the fourth part of the horror series Amnesia. Developer Frictional Games has announced that the release date has been moved from March to 16th of May. We will be able to play Amnesia: The Bunker on PC (in particular on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG), as well as on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The new part is supposed to be more extensive than the previous ones, and the small studio has been battling various illnesses in recent days, which has caused delays. “It’s important for us to get the game right, and in light of these breaks in development, we don’t want to rush the final product,” the official explanation says, adding that the team needs a few more weeks to work.

In the game, you take on the role of Henri Clément, a French soldier suffering from memory loss who must survive in a terrifying bunker during World War I. He has only a revolver and a flashlight, everything else he has to find along the way. However, the bunker is a labyrinth full of traps, unpleasant sounds and shadows. In addition, some unknown monster is hiding in its corridors. “The game is a story about survival and the desire to live even in the most difficult conditions,” the studio promises. This spawned the existential sci-fi horror SOMA in addition to the Amnesia series.

The fourth installment in The Bunker series should put more emphasis on combat and puzzles. The developers have also previously stated that the environment or enemies will be able to adapt to the player’s behavior.
