Developers Jagged Alliance 3 from Haemimont Games are well aware that they are working on a cult brand that has a lot of fans. They want to finally bring out a worthy successor to the legendary Jagged Alliance 2. They understand that they are under a lot of pressure. At the same time, they know they can’t screw up (more polite). That is why they are pleased to be able to count on cooperation with Jan Curryauthor of the original two-part Jagged Alliance.
Ian Curry founded MadLab Software in the early 1990s, where he created the first Jagged Alliance. The company then became the Canadian subsidiary of American publisher Sir-Tech, with Curry in charge of game development. In this position, he was actively involved in the development of Jagged Alliance 2.
Curry was initially skeptical and did not want to work with Haemimont Games. Mainly because he was not impressed with the newer parts of the series. But THQ Nordic convinced him, promised his full support, and now Curry does not need to rush anywhere.
Curry has been involved with Jagged Alliance 3 since the beginning. He is happy to work with Haemimont Games where he is now many fans of the original series. Curry himself is responsible for the story, script and characters, and is also involved in all design decisions. Thanks to this trio should have the same effect as its predecessors, only in a more modern form.
