Bethesda Studios organized a charity auction, the main prize of which was the opportunity to create a character design for the upcoming The Elder Scrolls. The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages collected a collection and managed to withdraw over $85,000. Their goal was to pay tribute to community member Laurenne Pirelle, who died unexpectedly in 2024. The fans lost heavily in the auction, but Bethesda still allowed them to pursue the project if they donated the proceeds to charity.

After all, Loranne Pyrel was not an unknown person to the studio. She has become famous in the Elder Scrolls community as the author of an expansive role-playing campaign set in the world of Tamriel. Her stories were so sophisticated that former developer Ted Peterson was featured in them. He worked with her often and even turned some of her ideas into official in-game stories.
