Combining the Hitman trilogy Hitman Murder World is not the only important news announced at the end of January this year. Danish studio IO Interactive is finishing the long-awaited hardmode Hitman Freelancer.
In that fraudulent mode Agent 47 is waiting for a chain of missions to eliminate various members of the Syndicates. You have to choose a Syndicate, find its lower members and gradually eliminate them in order to get to their main representatives. But be careful if you fail, you must start over by choosing another Syndicate.
Missions will take place in locations from the entire trilogy and you should have full control over which weapon you use. You will, of course, receive money for completing tasks, which you can invest in better equipment. It won’t be easy, the missions will be dynamic, unscripted and require strategic planning.
Hitman Freelance releases on January 26th with a free update that unlocks a new stage called Hitman World of Assassination. It will be on the same day Hitman 3 has just been renamed to a new phase, and its owners will have access to material from the first two volumes. We wrote more here.
