Sony unveils new controller or Gran Turismo movie teaser at CES

The traditional CES exhibition was not missed by the Japanese company Sony, which this time did not include television in its conference, but focused on automotive technology and games, of course, we will be primarily interested in the latter topic.

Although CES is mostly focused on hardware, Sony has dedicated quite a large part of the event to the upcoming film based on the famous Gran Turismo racing series. We’ve got a roughly one minute teaser featuring some of the main characters, you can count on the likes of David Harbor, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe. The film should appear in Czech cinemas on August 10 this year.

One of the biggest announcements is undoubtedly the all-new PlayStation 5 controller, codenamed Leonardo. This device is designed for players with disabilities, which should allow such people to more comfortably hold and use the controller.

It will be a very customizable controller, the player can rearrange individual buttons and change their functions. The release date is not yet known.

After that, the head of the PlayStation, Jim Ryan, came out to present several new products. First, we learned that the PS5 already has over 30 million units, and according to Ryan, the shortage of the console is over, and everyone can buy it.

Of course, there was also the upcoming PS VR2 headset, for which we learned that in addition to the already announced games, the rhythmic Beat Saber will also arrive. An all-new VR version of Gran Turismo 7 was then announced.
