There is still an opinion in society that streamers and YouTubers are no good and just create meaningless content. However, on the Czech scene, we can find many creators who are actively trying to prove otherwise. Nothing is just black and white. After all, it is streamers and YouTubers who organize many charity events every year. Damien “DeeThane” Dante is by far the most active Czech streamer in terms of the number of charity events.
Damien comes from a foster family and worked as a commentator in the professional Counter-Strike scene before making a living broadcasting on Twitch. Every year around Christmas, he organizes a charity stream, the proceeds of which go to the child’s family. Here Damien chooses carefully and in the past has helped several children with difficult lives, for which he is respected by many Czech creators.
This year he is helping little Matysko from Přerov, who has had serious heart problems since childhood. A few days before Christmas, on Saturday, December 18, a charity stream will take place. DeeThane has posted an interview with the Matyska family on their YouTube channel to learn more about the fate of the family and where the money will go. Unfortunately, the program for the entire broadcast is not yet known, but it will change as the date approaches.
