The Grunex Challenge involves developing teams.

This week saw the last round of qualification for the internal Valorant Grunex Challenge, in which sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of 55,000 CZK. After the group stage, the playoffs will take place, in which the following teams will try to qualify:

Group A: Corporate Esports, GateGuards, Farmers, WheelchairGaming.

Group B: Cryptova, Dohaje, Squadra, Jen Tak

Group C: NPC Gang, It’s All Clear, Don’t Be Afraid, Lan Party Hotel

Group D: Big Impact, Hazarderz, Knife Talk, EZW1N

The group stage of the Grunex Challenge in Valorant will be available to watch from Saturday, December 10th. Streamers will become commentators spayKK, TIKS as well as Astator, the broadcast itself will take place on the grunexcom channel. You can see the detailed schedule below.

Valorant named the best esports game of the year

We will stay with Valorant. The annual The Game Awards took place on Friday, December 9th. Here, Valorant won the title of the best esports game of the year, beating other nominees, which were League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DOTA 2 and Rocket League. The Best Esports Game Award recognizes a game that provides players with the best esports experience. Several factors are involved here, such as the organization of tournaments or the quality support of the gaming community.

He also received a Valorant-related award. Jacob “yay” Whitaker, which is part of the North American division of the Cloud9 organization. Whitaker won the title of best professional player. The jury praised the combination of Whitaker’s outstanding performance and the quality of his public performances. The shooter himself played a significant role this year for the OpTic organization, with which he achieved excellent results. He didn’t miss a single major, won the Stage 1 Masters in Reykjavik in April and placed second with his team in the final. Interestingly, he was the only nominated representative of the game Valorant in the category of the best professional player. He also defeated players from other esports games, Faker (League of Legends) and s1mple (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive).
