Since the release of Survival Horror Callisto Protocol draws attention to the fact that the developers preferred the PlayStation 5 version and deliberately omitted ray tracing reflections on the Xbox Series X. This led, among other things, to the fact that you could not see the main character in the mirror. That being said, this feature has been on the PS5 since the beginning.
Striking Distance Studios explained this as an unforeseen error, and the whole problem with optimization and game errors as an administrative error. However, the team continues to work on fixing the title.

The latest update adds ray-traced reflection to the Xbox Series X version of the Callisto protocol.. At the same time, it fixes various bugs and improves the game on all consoles.
Glen Schofield, CEO of Striking Distance Studios, on Twitter he noticedthat in addition to ray-traced reflection, the Xbox Series X version uses other minor improvements. But here, too, he was not specific. Instead, he wrote that he plays very well. But he admits that there is still a lot of noise in the game, they are working on it.
“We work daily to optimize for all platforms and listen to your feedback. Thank you for your patience” they added the authors.
Unconfirmed speculation in favor of the PS5 version arose due to one interesting fact. About 150 employees of the Sony Visual Arts Services Group and its Malaysian team took part in The Callisto Protocol.. Sony also provided the developers of Striking Distance with its motion capture studio. In return, Sony should own the marketing rights. In other words, The Callisto Protocol should not appear in Xbox-related ads.
Sony usually helps other studios, especially by providing their hardware or software, and elsewhere by helping out with sound or footage. In the case of The Callisto Protocol, it’s more of a collaboration.
