Ubisoft only officially mentions 2023. However, as it became known to Insider Gaming, Mirage was originally supposed to reach the players earlier. Unconfirmed reports say it’s February 2023 and then Spring 2023.

In any case, the game will appear on PC and the last two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It is assumed that less powerful consoles may be the cause of the problems.

Is ASSASSIN’S CREED set in Japan in trouble?

But that’s not all. According to the same site, Assassin’s Creed takes place in Japan (Codename RED) faces development challenges while Codename Hex has been received with overwhelmingly positive feedback during the proof-of-concept stage, and full-scale production may soon begin.

Codename RED is being developed at Ubisoft’s Quebec studio (AC Odyssey), where they have faced a number of layoffs, in part due to widespread allegations of abuse.

The question is what this means for the timing of the release of both games. Earlier leaks claimed that RED would arrive in 2024 and HEXE two years later.
