South Korean company NCSoft discloses Project LLLA massively multiplayer third-person sci-fi shooter that invites PC and console players into an open world.
The company behind Lineage, Guild Wars or Blade & Soul wants to create Project LLL bring a new genre, which is different from the recently popular looter shooters and battle royales. The game is supposed to combine various styles and elements from previous NCSoft games.
The open world should be really vast, inclusive. over 30 square kilometers of land, which is organically associated with one environment. For lore, the authors draw inspiration from Foundation, Dune, and Philip K. Dick, while for technology, human justice, and alternate history, Blade Runner, Total Recall, and The Man in the High Castle “.
The characters themselves must be predefined. Each of them will have a unique name, backstory and driving forces.
The LLL project was created on Unreal Engine 5 and should be released in 2024.
