Danish developer and artist Riana Moller (currently the art director of the Polish studio PolyAmorous, formerly the creative director of Bohemia Interactive) shared on the ArtStation platform three images that she says she created as concepts for an unannounced game by the Polish team. Draw Distance. He is behind, for example, visual novels from around the world. Vampire: The Masquerade or finally stealth action Serial cleaners.
“A bleak street view highlighting social differences for an unannounced project. [Draw Distance]. Created in Unreal Engine and then redrawn to fine-tune the details,” reads the author’s caption. And the pictures describe it quite accurately, the shape of the world and the themes point to the dystopian setting of the title.
Official developer channels are still silent about the upcoming game. Riana Moller also shared a set of sci-fi illustrations just a day before the dissected images, which also went to the developers of Draw Distance. However, the author does not talk about a specific project in connection with them.
But working at Draw Distance is even more tied to her profile. The unannounced project mentions some mutants in other projects. It is difficult to judge at what stage of development the project is at and whether in some cases it is simply a matter of the developers exploring the possibilities of where to go in future games. Not all concepts are necessarily fully compatible with the dystopia under discussion in terms of stylization.
