According to information from the South Korean website MTN, which was subsequently picked up by VGC magazine, Sony and NCSoft entered into an agreement that will result in MMORPG from the universe of the Horizon series. The game is to be developed by the South Korean studio NCSoft, which is behind the Guild Wars or Lineage MMO series. In the MMO genre, this is an experienced team that Sony clearly trusts.

The upcoming game, internally codenamed Project H, is set to release globally. Currently, according to MTN magazine sources, recruitment is underway, which indicates that development is just beginning. In parallel with this project, an unspecified multiplayer project must be created directly in the Guerrilla Games studio, which created the first two parts of the series. However, it is currently unclear if it will also make its way into the Horizon series universe.

Either way, this is another piece of the imaginary puzzle. live multiplayer games, which Sony is preparing. In the past, besides Horizon, there has also been talk of a live service game from London Studios or an already officially confirmed multiplayer title from the world of The Last of Us. And this is probably just the beginning.
