In the summer, we received a rather unexpected announcement of the new Alone in the Dark. The series that basically laid the foundations for the survival horror genre is finally making a comeback after many years. Part 1 is being reimagined by Pieces Interactive, and we were able to try out a demo at Gamescom. Since then, the game has not been talked about until now, until a new teaser has appeared.
It was released to celebrate Halloween and it must be said that it is very short and doesn’t say much.
“Derceto is a victim of evil. Sunset. I hear steps. May God forgive me.” it’s written on the label. “Celebrate Halloween, but remember it’s not the best night to be alone… in the dark.”
Otherwise, unfortunately, we did not learn anything new at all. Let’s hope it happens at The Game Awards in December, which is slowly but surely getting closer.
Alone in the Dark is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
