For the first time, players can experience co-op survival horror Survive the trials. On Friday, Montreal-based studio Red Barrels launched a closed beta test that will run until Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
The closed beta includes an introductory level that also serves as a tutorial, a lobby called The Sleep Room, Ability to customize characters and rooms and one of the game’s rehearsals, set in a police station with protagonist Leland Coyle.
The exam can be taken alone or in cooperation with up to three other players.. Here Murkoff evaluates the work of individual participants. “So that you can compare your scores with other test subjects…sorry, players”, says in a press release.
“We are excited to welcome players to the facility this Halloween. The Closed Beta is a very early test of what players can expect from the full game next year, and we’re looking forward to feedback from our testers to help bring this all-new Outlast experience to the finish line.” said Philip Morin, co-founder of Red Barrels.
As we already know, in The Outlast Trials you take on the role of test subjects. in a dark facility during the Cold War. Here the subjects are put to the test of their physical and psychological will and given the task to survive.
