The community that has formed around Polda over the years is absolutely incredible and once again proved that nothing is impossible. After the seventh episode with the popular Pankratz, enough there were loud voices of fans calling for a remake of Polda 2. It finally happened and a new campaign started on Hithit with the goal of raising 600,000 CZK. And how did it turn out?
This game legend is getting a new jacket, and since the original goal has been surpassed three times the original amount (total CZK 1,825,131 was collected), so nothing prevents expectations from being met. The initial requested amount was collected even in the first two days of the launch of the campaign, and then it grew so quickly that the developers did not even have time to add milestones.

In the case of the Poldy 2 remaster, we will see an improved look that will take the previously installed graphics to a new level, new animations and modernized music. Plus Petr Svoboda advises small surprises next summer. We don’t know what it will be at the moment.
The smaller one will also be included epilogue to the second volume, for which you will not need to go through the main campaign. This intermezzo will be about how Pankratz became a detective and will pick up exactly where part two left off and end up basically at the beginning of part three.
No one should be ashamed of this huge amount, and the unparalleled support keeps the developers moving forward. Thanks to this, we will see Polda 6 for MacOS, Polda 3 will go to Steam, and we should find other parts of the series there in time. Recently, the series should also support cloud gaming, and work on the mobile version of Polda 7 will also be underway.. And if all goes well, all adventures will finally be able to see consoles.
Polda 2 Remaster will release next November for PC and Mac. The Android and iOS version will be released in about a year. The game will not be released on the console yet, if it does, then the Nintendo Switch is a candidate.
