Sazka eLEAGUE knows his champion
This year, the final of the Sazka eLEAGUE competition took place during the FOR GAMES festival at the Letňa exhibition site. Since 2020, when the championship was founded, the Sinners team from Liberec has dominated the top stage. This year, although the Sinners won all five splits and two offline tournaments, they did not do well in the grand finals. The sinners fought for promotion against the group eSuba, whom they lost 16:7 and 16:6, thus missing out on the opportunity to compete for half a million crowns in the final match. Teams Entropiq Prague and ENTERPRISE were fighting for the second place in the promotion. Although the first round belonged to the Prague team, the shooters from ENTERPRISE took over the reins in the next two rounds. With the result of 14:16, 16:10 and 16:10 they reached the final together with eSuba.
According to the results, the teams Sinners and Entropiq Prague fought for the third place. On the first map, the Sinners lost at first, but thanks to their attacking tactics, they eventually won with a score of 16:12. In the second round, the Sinners completely dominated and, thanks to a 16-4 victory, took third place in the championship, which, of course, disappoints the favorites of the tournament. During the final match, the quality of the ENTERPRISE players was shown. They won the first map with a score of 16:10. eSuba performed better in the second map, winning 16:8. Jakub “M1key” Krausek, the youngest and least experienced shooter of the tournament, did well here and equalized. Players from ENTERPRISE won the third and final map and, thanks to the score of 16:11, secured the first place in the grand final. Thus, ENTERPRISE took home 500,000 CZK. The prize of 100,000 CZK remained on eSub. The next season of Sazka eLEAGUE will start next spring. Let’s see if the Sinners return to the competitive spotlight.
Czechs and Slovaks in major
After four long years, representatives of the Czech Republic and Slovakia will once again take a look at the major, which this time will be held in Brazilian Rio. The last time this happened was in 2018, when the FACEIT Major was held in London. At that time, Tomas “oskar” Stastny participated in the London Championship with the mousesports group. Together with the organization MOUZ, David “frozen” Chernyansky from Slovakia will be watching the upcoming major. Adam “NEOFRAG” Zuhar, who, along with the OG roster, managed to break into the promotion positions, will also visit the major for the first time. We will be able to watch both representatives of our regions on October 31 at the Challengers Stage. Top scorers from FaZe, Natus Vincere, Heroic, Vitality and others will also come to Rio.
Sad news for the Thai team.
The PUBG Global Championship is the premier battle royale competition in PUBG: Battlegrounds. Every year, teams from all over the world try to break through to the championship and thus gain fame and recognition. Among those interested there are often teams from Asia. But a very sad event befell the Thai Theerathon Five team. Netiwit coach “NAEZABOY” Necha has passed away. The reason is still unknown. His position will have to be replaced by someone else. Netiwit “NAEZABOY” Necha started as a regular player in the team, but moved to a coaching position earlier this year. He then led his team to victory at PUBG Thailand Open 2022. He also placed second in PCS6. The fourth place in PCS 7 provided the team with access to the PUBG Global Championship. The Theerathon Five announced that they would donate a portion of any winnings to the family of the deceased.
