A set of fan-made Valorant Oni 2.0 skins for the multiplayer game’s Vandal and Katana had Twitter users going wild over their impressive designs, leading many to call on Riot to adopt their game’s FPS concepts. Additionally, its pink variants have players demanding more pink-themed skin designs in general, which many fans feel Valorant in general lacks.
Weapon skins are very attractive to Valorant players, many of whom are shelling out big bucks to get exclusive paint jobs and visual changes. One of the most popular skin packs from the past is the Oni Collection, a dark red, black, and silver colorway pack with gold accents that was added to the game with the July 2020 patch 1.04. one of the fan favourites. and gamers can’t wait to see it return.
Valorant’s recent patch 5.08 marked the return of Ion 2.0 skins, following in the footsteps of the Glitchpop, Prime cool, and bubblegum-inspired fantasy western design, adding new changes to their original offerings. A particularly creative fan named TNAVegod, who also previously developed his own concept skin for the Ion 2.0 Vandal, decided to submit his ideas for oni vandal Y oni katana.
The skins are getting a lot of love in tweet responses and quotes, and players are voicing some pretty illuminating things they’d do to get their hands on them, but one aspect in particular caught people’s attention. TNAVegod mentioned that their full skin pack concept will include red, pink, and white color options. Shortly after, they tweeted that they had so many private messages and comments about the pink version that they decided prove itleading to an even greater outpouring of support.
Plus, it only reignited the longstanding call from the Valorant community for more pink weapon skins. Developer Riot Games has already talked about the extensive design process involved in creating Valorant weapon skins, so it might not be a quick process.
