“We wanted to create a Strategist who didn’t need to go into another world or look at a map to block the view of enemies,” said Alexander Mistakidis, designer of Riot Games. “Our intention was also to create an agent that could compete with the Viper on maps where it’s almost always used.”
“After a series of initial analyzes by Kevin Meier, we settled on the idea that Harbor should be an agent who could creatively block the view of the battlefield.”
“The team works from a variety of angles to create a loyal representation. We relied on a large number of outside consultants from India to gather an enormous amount of information regarding regions, cities, languages, customs, values, entertainment, food and beverage media and more, thus the in-house team they can immerse themselves in this culture and be inspired by it while working,” added author Joe Killeen.
“Next, a continuous series of tests followed to ensure we were creating an accurate interpretation. Our writers worked closely with the Indian Rebels in the MENA and Los Angeles offices to shape the sound and behavior of Harbor, as well as the use of Hindi language.”
