In October, the World Rally Championship (WRC) series was supposed to be expanded with another part called WRC Generations. The name was accompanied by some ambiguities from the very beginning of development. One of the biggest ones was that the PC version had to come out a month earlier than the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions. The confusion is over as all versions will be released on the same day.
The developers noted that recently they have observed confusion caused by the difference in release dates. To avoid this, Nacon decided to unify all release dates. WRC Generatins will release on November 3rd on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is planned for release later this year.
To save the fans, everyone who buys the game before November 17th will receive a Peugeot 206 WRC car as a gift. To make matters worse, a digital edition called Fully Loaded was also introduced. This includes a 48 hour early access (i.e. November 1st), a Citroën C4 WRC car, car decals, a Career Pack for the best start to the game campaign, and a three-year WRC+ subscription.
The best edition will cost ten dollars/euro more than the base game. This is the latest game to be worked on by Nacon, whose rights are being transferred to Codemasters, the studio behind the DiRT series, starting next year.
