Age of Empires 4 will additionally receive Czech localization

Microsoft is preparing for Age of Empires 25th Anniversary Celebration. The company plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Age of Empires in style on October 25th and invites all fans to join the live stream with the announcement, interviews with the team and a few surprises.

We don’t have to wait for some of them. 10/25 on Steam and Microsoft Store Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition will be released. The new version will include the base game, all updates released so far, and an anniversary update with a couple of new civilizations: Ottomans and Malians.

Current owners of Age of Empires 4 they get a free annual update. The aforementioned two factions will be free, as well as new main challenges, new achievements, eight new maps, and two new biomes to explore and conquer.

It will also start third season, the authors will finally add ranked team matches and improve the balance of naval units. You can also look forward to special themed rewards.

To mark the 25th anniversary of Age of Empires, the Anniversary Update will add 11 new locations to the fourth installment, including Czech. Yes, the title will be additionally learned in Czech or the text will be translated into Czech.

Games will join the holiday Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition as well as Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. These are supposed to be in-game challenges and exclusive rewards.

Age of Empires is out 10/15/1997 in North America and still remains one of the most popular brands in the real-time strategy genre. It was originally created at Ensemble Studios under lead designer Bruce Shelley. He previously collaborated with Sid Meier on Rail Tycoon and Civilization. The studio is long gone, but Age of Empires lives on.
