As previously mentioned, VALORANT will kick off with a major competition taking place in São Paulo in 2023. The inaugural tournament will begin in February, last three weeks and feature all Riot Games partner teams. The Americas, EMEA, and APAC regional seasons begin each week with a personal competition. The Masters, the second international tournament of the year, returns in June with the best teams from all competitions. This event offers the top teams in each region direct qualification for the remaining champions of the VALORANT World Cup.
The finals return in July, where the top teams that have yet to qualify for the Champions League will have one last chance to compete in the most important event of the season. There are three Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQs), each sending a team to the Champions. The VCT season will end in August with the Champions.
While all of these matches take place with Riot Games partner teams, there are also championships with non-partner teams that can reach VALORANT’s biggest international tournaments in 2024.
