The opening presentation of the State of Play marked the return of the Tekken series. It came to official presentation of the eighth episodewhich publisher Bandai Namco teased with a short teaser a month ago.
However, the game has only just been revealed in its introductory gameplay trailer. According to the game’s executive producer Katsuhiro Harada, the demo should be taken from straight out of story mode game, which means that the background, character models and effects in the trailer must be of the same quality as in the game itself.
These are frames rendered in real time at 60 frames per second. It should be noted that progress compared to the old work is visible at a glance.
Tekken 8 will be released on an as-yet-undisclosed date on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.. There are no plans to release older generation consoles. Fans of fighting games with a new Tekken will be waiting for the release of the sixth Street Fighter from rival Capcom.
