Ubisoft has confirmed that it is raising prices on its future major console games, following in the footsteps of other publishers such as Take-Two, Sony, Square Enix and Activision. prefix 5 as well as Xbox Series X/S for ten dollars/euro.

The new price tag for big AAA games was confirmed by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot in an interview with Axios. Where he also stated that some projects will have a different price tag. For example, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, considering its duration (from 15 to 20 hours), will cost 49.99 USD/EUR.

A price increase on Skull and Bones is the last thing this lackluster game needs in my opinion. I don’t mean to be biased, but piracy doesn’t look good. Everything indicates that there will not be much interest in this project. And now, after the price increase, it can be even lower.

Recall that the first game from Take-Two at a higher price was NBA 2K21 two years ago in August. They were followed by Activision, Sony, EA and Square Enix. The latter even sells some PC games for a higher price. Microsoft continues to keep the price lowprobably about the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
