Four heroes, two worlds and one war. This text in the teaser trailer and press release for action-adventure from the world of Marvel from Skydance Media Yesterday caused a wave of rumors about a possible collaboration. Fans of solo adventures feared that this would be another cooperative action game, like Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad Kill the League.
If you are one of them, we have good news for you. As yet unnamed project Amy Hennigformer writer of the Uncharted series, will pure single player. A well-known author who has had some bad luck lately (the canceled Star Wars project at Visceral Games and the dissolution of exclusive development teams for Google Stadia) revealed one interesting thing.
Amy Hennig’s words imply that according to the plot, her new game is cooperative, but not in terms of game mechanics. So while there will be more heroes in the title, we shouldn’t expect to be able to team up with your friend in local or online play.
“With Uncharted, we had something partly intentional, partly accidental, that it was a shared living room experience for people playing our game…even if they didn’t have a controller. The goal of this game is to recreate the same living room experience even when the players are not actively playing together.” Hennig told IGN.
We know from the teaser trailer that the title will focus on four charactersCast: Captain America, Black Panther (Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather), Howling Commando member Gabe Jones, and warrior Dora Milahe. These heroes oppose the forces of the Hydra. During the Second World War.
