The first Lost Ark September update is all about improvements.

The Lost Ark September Update will be released on September 7. It is packed with tweaks and changes that will improve almost every aspect of MMO gaming. What it doesn’t do is add new content. The Machinist Class and Kakul-Saidon Raid are both scheduled for late September, though as always, Smilegate and Amazon don’t have a set timeline for these updates.

First of all, in the first update of September, there will be a number of adjustments that will make getting around the Proving Grounds Inn a lot less boring. You can skip cutscenes at the start of a PvP match while the intro sequence and location selection menu have their timers reduced. There is also a camera that you can freely move in the Team Deathmatch modes.

The Stronghold Pet Vendor has new items for sale and an easier way to determine which quests are Stronghold quests. It’s now easier to visit other players’ Strongholds or invite them to yours, and if you’ve ever complained about tedious accessory setup, a new feature makes it easier. You can now set up props and related items from a single location menu and purchase missing items from there.

You can configure advanced settings, including maps and engravings, in the Trixion Learning Center, and (finally) there’s a guild group chat option with five separate guild chats. It’s easier than ever to find guild quests, and some guild skills have been balanced so you can tweak them to your heart’s content.

If waiting for a more powerful update and new class is too long, there are plenty of other Lost Ark classes to choose from, and we’ve got build guides to help you make the switch. Check out our Arcanist and Glaivier build for the latest two class additions.
