Cyberpunk 2077 will receive content based on the new anime

In the near future, we should finally see an upcoming anime. Edgerunners, which is produced by CD Projekt RED in association with Trigger and Netflix. At the same time, we are developers Cyberpunk 2077 they’ve been following the new Night City Wire channel, which usually shows news coming into the game. Unsurprisingly, this new content will eventually have a lot in common with the Edgerunners anime.

CD Projekt RED wrote on their Instagram that new things will be inspired by the series. We need to wait new missions, weapons and other content. It’s not yet clear how many will be added to the game in the finale, but we can definitely look forward to references that will please all fans of the series. With any luck, Cyberpunk 2077 could also introduce some cool new vehicles.

We will learn about all this in a special issue of Night City Wire. September 6 at 17:00 our time. We should see not only new content for the game, but also details about the anime itself. Miles Tots (level designer) and Patrick Mills (mission designer) will appear on the stream.

There is even speculation that this could be one of the biggest game updates ever. However, we will have to wait a bit for the reveal.
