The Fortnite Icon Series is the only way real people can get into a Battle Royale game, and it’s already attracted plenty of musicians, streamers, and others to the game. It’s always interesting to see who Epic decides to bring in next, and the latest addition to the series is a well-known NFL player.
We’d be lying if we said we follow the NFL, at least on the UK side of the site, but we’re sure American fans of the sport and Fortnite will be impressed by Patrick Mahomes, who’s obviously very good at the NFL. – in-game You’ll be able to purchase this skin and its accompanying gear starting August 24, but that’s not all.
Epic’s blog post actually states that you will be able to win a pack of skins on August 23 if you participate and are successful in the Patrick Mahomes Cup. “At the Patrick Mahomes Cup, the Zero Build Squads tournament taking place on Tuesday, August 23, compete against your squad for a chance to win the Patrick Mahomes Costume (+ Gladironian Gladiator Back Ornament) early! . Also, get at least eight points to unlock the “Secret Sauce” emoji! Epic loves scoring, don’t judge them too harshly.
The opportunity to win a skin is a great addition to one of the best free-to-play games on PC, and if you have some free time today to enter a tournament, this would be a great opportunity to save some money. if you really like the look of this pack.
