Twitch is ending exclusivity with its Partners through a helpful option for creators
Publishers can now broadcast on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, although there are certain restrictions.

Twitch’s latest decisions haven’t been very successful. The iconic streaming platform has presented controversial plans and laws that make any direct broadcast difficult, but has now taken us by surprise by ending it. exclusivity of partners while performing directly on other platforms.
We believe that streaming twice at the same time can lead to a less than optimal experience.excitementAs we read in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the recently updated Partners programme, the company has decided to open its eyes to the retransmission of content on other platforms: “We do not allow simultaneous streaming on web services like Twitch supporting streaming for long periods such as YouTube and Facebookbecause we believe joining two streams at the same time can lead to a less than ideal experience for your community.”
Although there are some conditions, this provides an exclusivity around Partners that block streaming on other platforms. In addition, they greenlight some apps from Twitch: “However, we know many of you want to use other services to grow your community, so simultaneous transmission of mobile services in short form is allowed, for example TikYok or Instagram Live“.
This innovation has some limitations, but at least it gives us the opportunity to explore other streaming platforms and expand our content. Beyond that, while Twitch is still the queen of streaming apps, recent data shows Facebook Gaming is closing the gap.
