Two famous TV series recently made interesting comebacks

A day marked by collections and remakes.


During yesterday, collections and new versions of two famous gaming brands were presented.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection

The release of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection project deserves attention as the first. Already from the title one can assume that this is a collection of the legendary Mortal Kombat series, which contains original version of several old parts.

In particular, these are the following games:

  • Mortal Kombat – 1992 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
  • Mortal Kombat II – 1993 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
  • Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, WaveNet Arcade, SNES)
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy – 1996 (PlayStation)
  • Mortal Kombat 4 – 1997 (Arcade)
  • Mythologies Mortal Kombat: Sub-Zero – 1997 (PlayStation)
  • Special Forces Mortal Kombat – 2000 (PlayStation)
  • Mortal Kombat Advance – 2001 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance – 2002 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition – 2003 (Game Boy Advance)

Although some titles have not undergone any graphical changes, they still boast one significant new feature. It’s about online multiplayerwhich for obvious reasons was not in the original versions.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection is for less than 50 euros Available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.


Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Remake

The second new product is a collection of the first two parts of the JRPG Dragon Quest series. However, unlike the aforementioned Mortal Kombat in this case these are remakes of both gameswhich you can enjoy in a more modern graphical treatment.

The Japanese company Square Enix, which is behind this series, is even more attractive story expansionchanged gameplay and several innovations in content. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is available for 60 euros on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
