Tower of Fantasy cheats are already wreaking havoc on Hotta Studio’s open world RPG, climbing to the top of the leaderboards and wreaking havoc on those really trying to have a good time. As the number of rule breakers increases, players are demanding some kind of response.
Considered simply a clone of Genshin Impact before release, Hotta Studio’s cyberpunk-style open-world adventure Tower of Fantasy has grown in popularity, with the developers even having to compensate players as online wait times were shot on launch day.
With the influx of players comes a wave of scammers who are already creating problems for those who just want to continue their adventure in Hades. Dominating the leaderboards, pirates use tricks to upgrade their characters as much as possible, equip them with the best gear, and generally make them mad.
With Hotta remaining silent on the issue, players have joined these Tower of Fantasy scammers in an effort to get some sort of meaningful response from the developers.
Just as millions of players are immersed in the futuristic world of Tower of Fantasy, so are hackers and scammers. Discussion about these accounts (and how to deal with them) spread across the game’s official Reddit, with players deciding to report the issue to Hotta.
“This anti-cheat system is a joke,” wrote one irate fan, who attached a famous image of the now-iconic “flex tape” that can Apparently Stop the Deluge – Except in this scenario, this is an in-game disclaimer against cheating.
Another was more belligerent, stating “do not financially support this game until the piracy issue is resolved.” He shows two images of a group of hackers who blatantly break the rules and post a large number of achievements on their profile. “Outdoors too, without consequences,” they are outraged.
