owned by Digital Extremes announced surprise with introduction video in computer graphics spirit frame, a free-to-play MMO action RPG, spinoff of Warframe. The video was released on the occasion of TennoCon 2022 and presents the atmosphere of the game while also revealing some of its themes. Especially the relationship between the characters and nature, which seems to be central.
Almost nothing is known about the game yet, other than that it is still in the early stages of development. So let’s not wait for 2022 and probably not wait for 2023 either.
In May 2022, Digital Extremes noticed the registration of the “Soulframe” trademark. Now this project has taken place and we know what it is. Let’s take a look at some images from the trailer:

Creative director Geoff Crookes had this to say about the game:With the world and thematic elements of Soulframe, we try to go back to the things we loved when we were little and draw inspiration from the complex fantasy worlds we fell in love with growing up. Our team is genuinely interested in the idea of nature and humanity colliding, and we explore many of these topics, filtering it with our sensitivity as we play with ideas of restoration and exploration.“
What will it ever mean? We’ll see when we learn more about Soulframe. With a few guesses, Soulframe, like Warframe, is likely to come to consoles and PC. If you are interested, there is also an official website where you can go to pray to heaven. Nothing else for now.
