In July, the TF2Maps community site will host a Team Fortress 2 charity event in support of Doctors Without Borders. The event will run for 72 hours from July 22-25 and encourages all members of the FPS gaming community to come together and create something related to TF2 to help the humanitarian organization.
The rules are simple: all you have to do to enter is “do something for or about Team Fortress 2.” It can be something within the game or a real project if it is related to a free game from Valve. Some examples of maps, models, or mods usable in TF2 are given, along with “warpaints, animations, videos, paintings, drawings, fanfiction, carpentry, masonry, racing, tasks, and everything else.”
TF2Maps asks all contributors to ensure that they do not work on the project outside of defined hours. July 22 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. GMT at July 25 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. GMT. The team notes that pre-scheduling is allowed, but you shouldn’t start creating your content before the event starts. You may also use other people’s User Generated Content in your Creation, subject to the normal rules of TF2, if set up correctly.

The team notes that if you don’t have a measure of participation in the specific information, you can apply for your creation at all times by your choice, but you demand your limit at the same time limit of 72 hours. all the world.
The TF2Maps team will be streaming live during the event and showcasing in-game builds, including map playtest sessions to provide feedback on map makers (which, as the name suggests, is the gang’s specialty). Other community projects will also be on display during the Jam Ketchup sessions during the event.
Meanwhile, Valve responded to the recent #SaveTF2 campaign with several Team Fortress 2 updates to help players download bots from their games.
