New roadmaps from AMD

On June 9, AMD organized a conference where they did not announce new products, but shared very interesting information. The company showed new roadmaps for both processors and video cards.

Let’s start with the GPU, it’s a little easier there. Of course, the search for graphics with RDNA 3 architecture is on the way and should appear sometime in the fall. AMD recalls that it is the first time using 5nm process and chipset design for desktop GPUs. However, the most interesting thing is that RDNA 3 has more than 50% more power per watt than the previous generation, which is really high. The company also revealed that RDNA 4 will arrive in 2024, which is probably to be expected. For now, one has to use an indefinite “advanced” process.

In terms of processors, we learned that the next generation of Zen 4 will offer more than 25% more power per watt (versus Zen 3) and more than 35% more overall power. In addition to the classic Zen 4, V-Cache processors and the “Zen 4c” architecture will appear later (we don’t know exactly what that means yet). The same goes for the next generation, where in addition to Zen 5, V-Cache and “c” versions are also planned. These processors will already use 4nm and 3nm processes and should appear in 2024.

You can also create your own Xbox controller in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Microsoft has announced the expansion of its Xbox Design Lab initiative, which allows you to create your own driver to your liking. New patterns have been added, as well as several new colors such as light orange, light pink, light green or light purple.

However, the most interesting news is that the program has been launched in 11 other countries, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. There were also players from Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Switzerland and New Zealand. Microsoft has promised to add support for Taiwan this summer.
