In a studio Toys for Bobwhere did it originate Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, to work on a new adventure of a famous hero. But this time it’s not about a remake or a brand new adventure. His turn multiplayer game.
So says Jez Cordon of Windows Central. He says it might be something like a brawler, but in the style of Crash. So it could be the previously mentioned Wumpa League project, now with a different name to attract more.
Cordon’s announcement of a new game goes hand in hand with last year’s announcement from the creators. Last year, Toys for Bob celebrated the 25th anniversary of the iconic character and wrote that they would see him soon. But then word came that Activision had hired them to work on Call of Duty specifically to help with the third season of Warzone. This, in turn, gave rise to rumors that we won’t see Crash for the foreseeable future.

If the journalist and insider has the right information, we may see Crash Bandicoot multiplayer on June 12th. at a joint Xbox press conference with Bethesda. Phil Spencer is worth mentioning here. After the Activision Blizzard acquisition was announced, Microsoft’s head of gaming made it clear that he wanted to talk to individual developers and find out what they wanted to work on. But change won’t be possible until the biggest acquisition in the history of the video game industry is completed.
