It’s finally time for Summer Game Fest, and a bunch of leaks about the show’s appearances have already started to emerge, and it looks like the Ark 2 Xbox Showcase leak confirms the long-awaited survival game starring Vin Diesel, thanks to the Official Twitter. Bill.
Vin Diesel’s highly anticipated dinosaur game aka Ark 2, the sequel to Ark: Survival Evolved, was revealed at The Game Awards in December 2020. Aside from the news that family man Vin Diesel is actually “President of Creative Convergence on the project, Ark 2 hasn’t been heard from since.
That looks set to change, as it looks like Ark 2 will hit the Xbox store on June 12. The leak seems pretty believable as it comes from the official French Ark: Survival Evolved Twitter account. You can check it out below (thanks Reddit). As for why it would be at a Microsoft event and not Summer Game Fest or the PC Gaming Show, it was previously confirmed that it would be an Xbox console launch exclusive.
No other official Ark accounts have announced this, so we’re not sure Ark France should have. The message translates to “see you June 12 for exclusive Ark 2 content” with an image clearly displaying the Ark 2 and Xbox logos. You definitely will, Ark 2.
