Nacon and Spiders just announced Greed 2. The sequel to the 2019 action-RPG, which sold over two million copies, will take place three years before events number one and the adventures of De Sarde.
This time we will play as a native of Tir Fradi, who was forcibly taken from the island to the Gakane continent, where the colonists come from. In this old world ravaged by war and marked by the plague of Malichor and the political intrigues of various factions, you must regain your freedom and control over your destiny.
Through diplomacy, deception or fighting, and the allies you create, you must put an end to one man’s conquest ambitions, which could mean the end of the continent and your island.
GreedFall 2 follows the formula of the first part a focuses on story and player choice. Developers are preparing more tactical duels.
“Our love for GreedFall has never waned while we’ve been working on Steelrising, so we’re excited to be back.” said Jeanne Rousseau, founder and director of development studio Spiders. “In this new chapter, players will explore the old continent in a larger and more diverse environment. They will meet new companions and new factions, and I hope they have unforgettable adventures.”
GreedFall 2 is scheduled for 2024 for PC and consoles. It remains to wait for the trailer and pictures, but for now, be content with the game logo:
