Fans of Silent Hill survival have a hard time. The last full-fledged work was Silent Hill: Downpour by the Czech studio Vatra Games, followed by the famous PT demo of Hide Kojima’s Silent Hills, which was never created due to conflicts with Konami. So Silent Hill disappeared for several years. But the way it looks now could be better.
The fact that a new game from this series will be created has been talked about for several years. However, on Friday we received the first physical evidence that it probably exists. They’ve been taken care of by renowned leader Dusk Golem, who focuses mostly on the Resident Evil series and Capcom in general, but has also spoken about Silent Hill a few times in recent years.
Although Dusk Golem claims to have obtained the material from a relatively new source, he has received more than enough evidence to believe him. As a result, he shared directly on Twitter. 4 screenshots (supposedly from 2020) straight from the game. We can see several rooms and the face of one of the characters. Dusk Golem adds words Anita and Maya (possibly main characters) “SMS”this is something that has changed several times with Silent Hill.

The most interesting thing is the significant resemblance to what Resident Evil 7 or Village looks like. First of all, the first room looks like it was created in RE Engine, which of course could be a coincidence, but there have been talks in the past that a Japanese studio should be working on the game. But there is also the Polish studio Bloober Team, which has already established an official cooperation with Konami and has stated several times that they can work on Silent Hill. Explanation? The new title is being created in collaboration with several studios, at least that’s what Dusk Golem says. However, he adds that this is not the only Silent Hill game in development.
As a result, we saw another concept art, which, according to the label, is Masahiro Ito. A well-known artist who has worked on several parts of the Silent Hill series, including the very first one.
Of course, it’s not clear when we’ll get the announcement. We also don’t know the target platforms. Dusk Golm says Sony is still involved in some way. Before anyway he claimedthat just from a marketing standpoint, PS5 exclusivity shouldn’t be.
