Professional Fortnite player and publisher Malachi “Reverse2k” Greiner has announced his decision to stop playing the game competitively, but it won’t be the complete end for him and Fortnite.

†[I’ll] keep it short and simple,” says Reverse2k Twitter posts† “I just finished playing Fortnite competitively. I still love the game, I still want to get involved, but I’m a bit tired of the community and the game itself.”

He then goes on to explain why he decided to retire from competitive Fortnite, stating that he is tired of not being respected by other members of the community. †[I don’t care] “When people hated me,” she says, “but the constant disrespect for my name and my style of play was just too much. Tired of having to “prove” that I am the best player and finding new teammates in both tournaments. »

Reverse2k recently had a pretty rocky deal with Fortnite. In February, the player announced he was a free agent and said that after some pretty rough seasons he “wanted to quit” Fortnite because of the “terrible” community.

Now, it looks like Reverse2k has finally delivered on that promise. While he’s not quitting Fortnite altogether, it’s the end of his competitive career – at least for now.
