At least, that’s what Square Enix reported to Japanese magazine Famitsu, further reporting that the team is in the final stages of content building and the rest of the time will likely be invested in general cleanup.
In the message from Square Enix, “We are very happy to announce to everyone that Octopath Traveler 2 is now 90% complete”, “We are in the final stages, so we ask you to be a little more patient. More information to come in the next period”.
It’s okay to keep the release date as February 24, in any case, we’ll be following the issue closely, and we’re waiting for more information. Octopath Traveler 2 appeared almost abruptly, considering that the announcement with the trailer only took place on September 13, 2022 at Nintendo Direct, so work is already well underway and the release is relatively close.
Last Saturday, we watched a long gameplay video with 20 minutes of gameplay, expecting to be able to try it out for ourselves.
