Splinter Cell Remake will stay true to the original, but a job offer highlights some changes
Ubisoft is hiring a screenwriter to bring back the most iconic infiltration action saga.

While it’s been guaranteed since it was announced that the Splinter Cell remake won’t be an exact replica of the original, as with other recent developments in the industry, a business proposal was shared this week that delved deeper into what kind of differences. since they want to offer Ubisoft for the expected payoff of the saga.
“Based on the original Splinter Cell, we are rewriting and updating the story for a modern audience. We strive to maintain the essence and themes of the original game. we explore our characters and their world to make them more authentic and believable. As Ubisoft Toronto writers, you’ll join the Narrative team and help create a cohesive and engaging experience for a new wave of Splinter Cell fans.
As we explained at the beginning, Ubisoft has already informed with the presentation of the title that they will try to include new developments, but always with the idea of making the remake something capable. Keep the spirit of the first Splinter Cell intact. We now know that they want to dive deeper into their characters and worlds, which seems to involve developing new quests and story elements.
For now, it seems unlikely that we’ll hear from Splinter Cell Remake, as Ubisoft is in the hiring phase of its development. However, it already has a better future than Splinter Cell VR, which was canceled by the French firm in the summer.
