Elden Ring: Role Playing Game announced by FromSoftware

from software announces that its parent company Kadokawa is developing a new board game; Let’s talk about Elden Ring: Role Playing Game, currently scheduled for Japan. The creator is Kato Hironori, the same as in Kadokawa’s Dark Souls The Roleplaying Game.

Elden Ring: The Roleplay Game is not planned for the West for now. we remember this Dark Souls: Role Playing Game by Kadokawa it never went west, but an alternative and standalone version was made by Steamforged that uses a set of custom rules created since D&D 5E.

we will have to wait News from FromSoftware and Kadokawa: We’ll see if there’s room for the western version after the Japanese version is released. Elden Ring has had tremendous success around the world, so Kadokawa might consider the English translation for this new board game an acceptable investment.
