In the artwork published by PlayStation Arabia, we see Freya attacking Kratos and Atreus while on a sled. The scene seems to be reminiscent of one of the sequences featured in the gameplay trailer presented in September last year, where we see the Norse mythology’s goddess, son Baldur, attack the two protagonists to avenge his death.

The interesting detail emerging from the image is two Wings from “Valkyrie” by Freya. We know that they were previously taken from her by Odin, who prevented them from leaving Midgard or harming any living creature, but also cursed her, as explained in our special dedication to the goddess of seduction and beauty. Somehow Freya must have managed to regain her powers as queen of the Valkyries and she will use them against Kratos and Atreus.

God of War: Ragnarok will be available for PS5 and PS4 from now 9 November 2022.
