This next-gen FSR 2.0 should provide much better image quality than the FSR 1.0, released in June 2021, but more importantly, it will support Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. There must be interest in supporting this technology. It can unleash GPU performance with low resolution display while maintaining detailed images. This way, the machine can run video games at high frame rates in seconds without slowing down visual collapse.

AMD provides an image that lets you compare FSR 2.0 processing at 4K to native resolution. To see even a small difference, we must admit that the result is convincing:

AMD has yet to announce when Xbox Series games will support FSR 2.0.
