Gamers trying to get a little more than just playing Dying Light 2 are in for a treat.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is set to receive its next update on Wednesday, April 27. Patch 1.3.0. It will add a variety of new content to the latest game, including the new Game+ mode. While some items, like the paraglider, will need to be reacquired throughout the story, players will be able to transfer their progress, skills, and gear to a new game.
New Game+ comes with its own challenges; Enemies are sized based on player level, which means your second outing will be a bit more difficult. Some of the encounters will be particularly difficult, and a new quest called “Something Big Here Happened” seems to hint at something particularly gruesome.
Techland revealed in a recent video that they initially had plans for a new Game+, but still had to deal with other priorities such as game stabilization and fixing major issues.
New Game+ is also adding 30 new Inhibitors to help players continue to grow and improve their characters. But capturing them won’t be so easy, according to Techland. Players will need to solve several puzzles along the way.
In the new patch, players will also be able to participate in new parkour challenges which will be added to a new medal, the platinum medals.
Dying Light fans will no doubt want to get back into the game with this latest patch and they won’t have to wait long. Patch 1.3.0. It will be on all platforms tomorrow.
