Razer Announces Dynamic and Continuous Expansion in Latin America in 2022

Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, has just announced its plans for growth and further investment in Latin America in 2022. The project aims to further strengthen local e-commerce and governance teams. in addition to expanding the division’s mobile and console-focused product offering.

To achieve the goals, the company will increase investments in major e-commerce platforms in the region, such as Amazon (Mexico and Brazil) and free market (Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico), in which the company estimates annual revenue growth of 40%. Expanding sales channels will also allow the brand to offer Latin American gamers even more product options, including gaming chairs, console peripherals, streaming accessories and more.

Razer Announces B2B Focused Expansion and Tour

In parallel, the company will undertake a multi-country B2B market-focused tour to strengthen relationships and introduce the company’s growing team in Latin America to major distributors and partners in the region, developing personalized strategies for each of them. Led by Marcella Sosa, Regional Sales Manager for Latin America, and Luciana Pucci, Marketing Manager for Latin America, Razer will visit nine countries in two phases:

From April 18 to May 7, the delegation will travel to the Southern Cone of Latin America, including Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru, where Marcella Sosa and Luciana Pucci will be joined by Vitor Martins, Razer Country Manager Brazil, and Evgenia Lamark, Razer National Manager in Argentina.

“The tour will not be just a way for us to connect with distributors in each of these countries. We are truly committed to strengthening one of the most passionate gaming communities in the world. This approach will allow us to better understand consumers, understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth together with the region,” explains Marcella.

During his visit to Peru, he will also introduce to the local market Jorge Milla de Leon, the country’s new regional manager, who arrives on a mission to strengthen local relations and develop new partnerships.

At the second moment, between May and June, the Razer team will cover the northern region of Latin America, visiting Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador. At this point, Sosa and Pucci will be joined by Manuel Gomez, Razer’s regional manager for Mexico and Central America, and Delio Molina, the company’s newly appointed regional manager for Colombia.

“One of our main goals during our travels in Latin America is to strengthen our market strategy in the region, not only in the esports and gaming sector, but also in mobile products,” said Luciana Pucci. “Our approach prioritizes products designed to meet the needs of gamers across multiple fronts, from chairs to streaming gear to the world’s largest Chroma RGB ecosystem, as well as microphones, headphones and other peripherals.”

The visits will end when the delegation arrives in Mexico, one of the main stops. There, the team will interact directly with the esports community, building exciting new alliances with a soon-to-be-announced partner.
