When it comes to Kingdom Hearts, it’s often necessary to rely on outlandish theories because they have a very good chance of being true, which is why many have a clue above Kingdom Hearts 4 recently hidden Message from Tetsuya Nomuradirector, on the occasion of his 20th anniversary celebrations.
The Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary celebration event is currently underway, complete with a physical and in-person party, in which a message written by Nomura on the occasion was revealed.
The message itself is very general and talks about the entire series and what it means for the writer and the cast, but what caught the fans’ attention is, “x” placed in the middle of the text, apparently randomly, which has no special meaning compared to the rest of the message.
However, we know well how the details are randomly placed in this sequence, so for some this x refers to the transliteration according to the symbolism the sequence uses, i.e. number 4″. So this could be a reference to Kingdom Hearts 4, the first vague mention to come directly from Nomura.
Another clue would be hidden in another piece of art released on the occasion of the 20th anniversary, reported in the tweet below. The image seems to contain 4 spaces for multiple drawings, possibly referring to the main episodes of the series. One of them is empty, and it suggests it could soon be filled with the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 4.
It’s clearly no secret that a new episode is planned for the series, but until now no one has spoken openly about Kingdom Hearts 4, so any reference to it is a novelty, but in this case the question is really very vague. We had seen the 20th anniversary sketches shared by Nomura recently, and we were waiting to hear something about the future of the series.
