Wondering how to get to NPCs in Core Keeper? here is what you need
Core Keeper is an online cooperative mining drill game from Pugstorm and Fireshine Games. Players will find that they will build an underground survival base, fight various monsters, farm resources and items.

NPCs are unlocked by killing other world bosses and obtaining the spawn item. Currently, three NPCs are known: the Bearded Merchant, the Cave Merchant, and the Spirit Merchant. Each NPC has different spawn items: Slime Oil for Bearded Trader dropped by Glurch Abominous, Mysterious Idol by Ghorm Devourer for Trapped Cave Trader, and Ancient Hologram Pod for Ghost Trader. The last item is slightly different from the others as it must be crafted in the Hive Mother Statue.
From there, you need to hire NPCs to build a room for them. The room itself should be no larger than 8×8 tiles with a wooden door and a previously unpainted bed. Then you need to place the spawn item in the room to attract NPCs. During this process, you will need to be more than 30 tiles away from the area for the NPC to move.
Because unlocking NPCs requires killing bosses, you probably won’t be able to get them without making enough progress in your game. Sandbox adventure game for 1-8 players is available now on Steam Early Access.
